Rose Hill raised beds

Late 2016

A pair of new members Kate and Brian asked to join the Allotement Assosiation in 2015. They needed a suitable small plot with raised beds. After much discussion and a review of areas at both Seven Stiles and Rose Hill they felt that the Rose Hill site was the more suitable site.

An existing member kindly gave up a piece their plot

We set about the task of planning to build the raised beds.
The materials for the construction and paved area around the beds
was funded from a grant from Forever Manchester and also
the Allotment Association.

The beds were designed by Richard.

The construction was undertaken by John Taylor a retired Master Builder
affectionately known as Straight Line John, if you'd seen his plot you'd understand.
